We do not want the legacy of the International Schubert’s contest in piano duos to disappear, and so we are in preparation for a festival of piano duos, Schubertiádu.
The festival comes from the tradition of Schubert’s contest beginnings when lectures and concerts connected with Schubert and the piano duo took place. It was a festival about meeting and sharing experiences with the involved, and that is something we would love to maintain this year. Apart from lectures and concerts, the festival will offer a masterclass where the attendees have a chance of participating in the final concert. Amongst the lecturers are famous Czech and foreign teachers who abound great experience in the field.
